Teixeira Farms is leading the way in environmentally friendly forms of energy use. We use the Sun’s energy to pump water for irrigation and when the pumps aren’t in use, the power we generate is sent back into the Pacific Gas and Electric  power grid, which is enough to supply about 180 homes. We are doing our part to reduce this nation’s dependence on electricity produced by foreign oil.
